Since the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC EES) came into force on the 1st April, many organisations have realised that they do not have the adequate measurement or data auditing systems in place.
“We have received a flood of calls from organisations that are finding the data gathering, validation and reporting required for compliance with the CRC EES is more complex than they realised,” warned Steve Dingley, Managing Director of Integrated fm. “Validation and auditing of data is proving particularly challenging because energy data is stored in so many places and in various formats, often within different organisations.
“There is also a growing sense of urgency as organisations try to avoid fines by having suitable systems in place by September, so they can ensure they are submitting accurate carbon data. This is where our Sustainability iQ is proving to be the ideal solution as it addresses all of these challenges and more,” he added.
Built on over 20 years experience of managing operational data, Sustainability iQ is fully web-enabled and highly configurable to suit each organisation’s processes. It can import data from a wide range of sources and formats with the ability to input data direct into the system as well. All data is validated and made available for fast evaluation and reporting, with a full audit trail of origins and any changes.
